Sydney

time for an update.
Theres no time like now. Now when I have a head full of aches and a body full of hangover.
and I'm not in the state of mind to do actual work.
Plus, i cant smugly nag people to update their blogs if I dont do it myself.

Sydney was great. The trip down consisted of a lot of driving before dawn, sleeping passengers and stops at Driver Revivers and a call to the police to report a crazy dangerous driver on the highway. Yup, we are officially narks.
We left at 2am grabbing a drunk and still partying Elbeepo on the way.

It took us 12 hours exactly to reach the city but a bit longer to find our hotel and parking.
The hotel was really nice, especially considering how much we individually paid for it. I have stayed in nicer and I've stayed in a lot worse. The biggest bonus was how close to everything it was. Our grand high organising poo-bah did a great job finding it. What followed was a night of adventure, pubs, rain, being locked out of the club, lots of dancing, booze and then a fantastic concert performance from The Dears
The next morning we trundled out into the freezing cold, downed coffee and headed off to the Come Together festival. Where we watched lots of bands, went on rides and generally had some serious fun.
I was lucky enough to go to an exclusive You Am I gig and then meet Regurgitator.
The fan girl in me was extremely satisfied and I'll live off the stories of those encounters for years to come.

The drive back was fun too, containing deadly farts, lots of loud singing and some delerium.
It was a great weekend with some great people.
Thanks guys.
