I was opening the shop this morning
which usually means my alarm goes off at 7:30 and I get up by 7:45 at the latest.
I leave the house by 8:15 at the latest
This gets me to work at 8:45 leave me 15 minutes to get all the machinery running and all the opening preparations done.
Its not the kind of schedule I strictly stick to but its a guide.
Im not the kind of girl that takes hours to get ready every morning. I just need to clean, eat and then off I go.
This morning I woke to the sound of the garbage truck.
I use my phone's alarm and discovered that during the night it had run out of battery and shut off. I had no idea what the time was and if my alarm should have gone off by now.
I seaarched around in my bag and found a watch necklace I bought a couple of weeks ago.
It said 9:20
I freaked the fuck out
Jumped out of bed threw on clothes, and was out the door in 5 minutes.
As i turned the corner at the end of the street the 8am news started on the radio.
STUPID FUCKING WATCH
