Housewarming and mums condition

How ominous.
The part of my dream just before I woke up consisted of me waking up for work (in my dream god how BORING) but then discovering that it was 1:30 as opposed to the 7:30 that I had set my alarm for. I remember getting really frustrated that all the clocks said one thirty but it was clearly still morning.
I wonder what will happen at 1:30 today?

My mum had to have a major operation on her spine this week.
One of these which involved this as well. My uncle ended up being one of doctors doing the surgery. so they got her into pre-op all ready to go and then he said okay sis, we're off to have dinner! and left her there for an hour. HAHAHA
She's back at home now and moving around fairly well. She is able to stand completely upright which she hadn't been able to do for weeks because of pain. She was a crabby bitch when she called me at 6am yesterday to nag me about work stuff but I think that has nothing to do with the surgery and everything to do with being a mum. I don't think she will be able to work for a month or two, lifting and bending are big no-no's during recovery and thats a constant part of working in the shop. She isn't supposed to lift more than 2 kilos, which means she could only lift half of the cat.

We had our housewarming on Saturday night. Even though we have been living here for six months. You may have thought it was warmed BUT YOU WERE WRONG! Now we have a bbq we were able to warm it properly. We were each to invite about ten people and we would start in the afternoon with a big cookup and go on into the night with those able to hang around. What actually happened was I went crazy and invited about 20 people, H1 about 10 and H2 none. So my contingent took over and we partied from 2pm till 1am. There was delicious food

some restful veranda work

Guitar hero

Singstar

and boobs

What more could a housewarming possibly need?
